Hi, I'm Nikki...
Registered Massage Therapist with CMMOTA and 200-HR Certified Yoga Instructor with a passion for helping people of all ages and life stages fall in love with taking care of themselves. My own wellness journey and belief in the importance of self-care as a life skill are the inspiration for my practice. You only get one body in this life and I want to help inspire you to CARE for it.
MASSAGE THERAPY
My massage treatment philosophy is to address any underlying musculoskeletal mechanisms for pain or dysfunction you are experiencing, working with your nervous system and it's natural desire to be optimally functional. I employ a variety of tools and techniques to affect the soft tissues of your body during treatment, always working within your boundaries for comfort. Clinical assessment and home-care exercises or referrals are included to provide you with a comprehensive experience focused on long-term healing. I specialize in Wellness Massage (combining Relaxation & Therapeutic Techniques, Dynamic Cupping, Hydrotherapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage for injuries, Joint Play & Trigger Point Release), Orofacial Massage (Trigeminal Neuralgia, Chronic Headaches, TMD & Whiplash), Pregnancy Massage, Kids Massage and Visceral Relaxation Massage. Currently I offer Massage Therapy Services out of Oasis Wellness.
PRIVATE YOGA
My yoga philosophy is to encourage the regular use of intention, breath and movement to positively influence your nervous system, improving optimal function through balancing the mind-body connection. Yoga exists as a catalyst that encourages growth in whatever way feels natural to you, so having opportunities to explore your practice in one-on-one sessions really enables you to discover how yoga fits into your life. My goal is to provide every body with a space of safety and support in which to challenge their nervous systems to respond, rather than react, increasing neuroplasticity and improving overall wellness. I specialize in flow and yin style practices and occasionally offer mini-retreats that include meditation and breathwork. Please reach out to me directly to discuss options for Private Yoga sessions.

When applied with intention, both touch and movement have a profound effect on the body. Massage Therapy can prime your body for positive changes, creating space for healing and realignment to occur through the decrease of Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS) firing. Yoga can help you improve your functional mobility, actively realigning and reinforcing these positive changes by improving neuroplasticity. Together, they send your nervous system the message that your body is safe and allow for greater healing to occur.
Mission
To help improve the overall wellness of my clients using various manual therapy and yoga techniques and principles. This may include goals like pain management, improved function, decreased SNS firing, recovery from injuries and more.
